“Emerging from the dregs of despair, Harp & Bow is a sounding board for the broken and disheartened, a beckoning rope to the surface of hope.

Through painstakingly honest sentiments of faith and the human experience, the collective captures both the beautiful and the imperfect with a resounding voice. As an effort to silence the innate whispers of inner-doubt and outer-turmoil, the band embodies a sense of reckless and unconventional creativity. Musically immersive and lyrically vulnerable, an enveloping sense of comfort ensues.

Anchored in the burgeoning community of Metro Detroit, Harp & Bow seeks to be an echo of the era and the area, harnessing the essence of Southwest Michigan through spirited song.

The band’s debut release, “Lowlands,” is a musically lush journey, a recounting of the tumultuous nature of life’s valleys and seasons of unrelenting terrain. The album surges with brilliant soundscapes of ambient guitars, sweeping synths, and the subtle pulse of electronic drum layers. With stinging clarity and heart-wrenching beauty, the songs evoke a spiritual swelling of the soul.

Comprised of a rotating cast of musicians and songwriters, Harp & Bow embodies the amalgamate voice of truly inspired souls, each with a hunger to create and a desire to convey hope through song.  

Following its “Lowlands” debut, Harp & Bow plans to write, record, and release subsequent albums in similar thematic and collaborative fashion.”
